Video: Pitt’s James Conner back with team after cancer diagnosis

Pitt star running back James Conner had a rough ending to his 2015 season. After sitting out most of the season due to a torn MCL, Conner didn’t get a break when he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in December.

Nonetheless, he plans on getting back on the field in 2016 and get back to the level that won him 2014 ACC Player of the Year. As such, he was spotted working out with the team recently.

Head coach Pat Narduzzi guaranteed that Conner will be back come fall and said, “He will [beat cancer]. He will be playing for the Panthers next fall; I can guarantee that.”

No doubt.
