Tebow’s draft advice for Mariota and Winston

With the NFL Draft just a few days away, the usual talking heads are taking over our TV’s and laptops with their pre-draft analysis.

It also means that former draftees are going to be throwing their pearls of wisdom to the projected top picks.

So of course, college QB turned polarizing NFL personality turned SEC Network analyst Tim Tebow was asked to give his two cents.

USA Today posted a video Tuesday of an interview from back during Superbowl week in which the former Denver Bronco gave top draftees Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston advice on how to handle the days/weeks/months leading up to the NFL Draft.

Tebow doesn’t say anything ground-breaking. His message of “enjoy the moment” and “be yourself” is both super Tebow-esqu, and advice that the two NFL hopefuls are probably already getting from every other person involved in the draft process.

To be fair, if anyone can give Mariota and Winston advice on dealing with excess pressure and being overly scrutinized, the former Heisman Trophy winner is probably the guy to do it.

Whether Mariota or Winston have actually accepted advice from him is a whole other story.

Coverage of the 2015 NFL Draft begins with Round 1 on Thursday, April 30.
