Students brave campus flood, kayak to class

Walking across campus to get to class in the middle of a rain storm? It’s a total drag — enough to make you not want to go to class at all. Walking to class while campus is flooded? Out of the question.

Except for these nutcases attending Otago University in Dunedin, New Zealand.

These fools busted out kayaks to navigate the flooded campus. BroBible called them “dedicated nerds.” We call them straight-up crazy.

And frankly, we’re still trying to figure out why they had kayaks on campus in the first place. It’s not like you can tie those things up at the bike rack.

However you label these rapid-daring students, the effort to get to class in the midst of a campus-wide monsoon is darned impressive–if not also completely nuts. Heck, their professors probably chose to stay home.
