Temple has agreed to sign a 10-year contract extension with Under Armour, according to the Owl Inquirer.
According to inside sources, the deal is said to be worth $30 million, 10 times the amount of their previous contract. Under Armour has provided the Owls uniforms, apparel and footwear for all of Temple’s varsity sports.
Their last five-year deal with Temple totaled to $1.5 million.
Although Under Armour has had a big year with the success of major golf champion Jordan Spieth and NBA MVP and NBA champion Stephen Curry, signing Temple for this kind of money may be a little extreme.
