Les Miles on Leonard Fournette sitting out

LSU running back Leonard Fournette isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. He is easily one of the best players in the country right now and would be the number one overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

That is, if he could actually go to the Draft next year.

He is still a true sophomore and he still has at least one more year until he can forgo his final season and enter the Draft. One expert believes that it is for the best that Fournette still has one more year of college.

According to College Spun, ESPN NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay joined The Paul Finebaum Show and talked about Fournette’s future in the NFL on Wednesday afternoon. He believes that it is best for him as he can become better acclimated to the physical nature of the NFL after one more year playing in the SEC>

"He needs another year to develop physically, I think it's great that he has to go back for another year" – @McShay13 on Leonard Fournette

More from @McShay13 on @LSUfball's Leonard Fournette

"Has a chance to become one of the most elite RBs we've ever seen in the NFL draft"

— Paul Finebaum (@finebaum) September 30, 2015

Not only do I personally believe it’s good that Fournette has one more year in college to develop his own game, but it is going to be so much fun watching him in college for at least one more year.
