Washington State joins crappy college rap song club

It’s official, ladies and gentlemen. Washington State University has joined the likes of Wisconsin and Texas in that it has begun making bad rap songs.

The track, titled “WAZZU,” is by someone who goes by Tay Ali and can be heard here.

Simply put, I have no idea where to start with this one. The track is a minute and 46 seconds long, and only has actual rapping in it for maybe 45-50 seconds. The rest is a loop that sounds like the music of a boss battle of a bad video game, and Ali’s rapping sounds like he’s spitting out his lyrics while running from the monster that lives under his bed.

Even worse, the best lyrics are at the beginning and the end: “WA-ZU! WA-ZU! WA-ZU!”

Sorry, Tay. While I respect your love for the Cougars, but maybe you should pick another creative outlet to express that love.
