WIll Grier to start vs Ole Miss, Treon Harris may play

Florida quarterback Will Grier has done a fairly good job for the Gators this season. He has thrown for over 700 yards and six touchdowns, while rushing for over 100 and two more touchdowns.

That has been good enough to have his team at 4-0 and ranked in the AP Top 25 for the first time this season. He is going to have be just as good as he has been in past games this Saturday as they welcome in the Ole Miss Rebels.

According to College Spun, Grier has been named the starter again for the game. Head coach Jim McElwain announced his decision on Wednesday evening, but also made it clear that he backup quarterback Treon Harris could make an appearance.

Jim McElwain said Will Grier will start Saturday against Ole Miss. Treon Harris would be more of a change of pace at QB. #Gators

Harris hasn’t played since the East Carolina game two weeks ago. He was suspended for last week’s home win over the Tennessee Volunteers.

This game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday. It can be seen on ESPN.
