The college football season has heated up tremendously and people are starting to get more analytical when it comes to picking their College Football Playoff foursome. ESPN has been doing this since the preseason and it seems to change with every week.
On Thursday, the ESPN night crew revealed their newest CFP foursome and it is actually pretty odd. The new playoff includes two teams from the same conference that play each other later on in the season.
This is based on what has already happened this season, but I still can’t agree with it. I just don’t see a Power Five Conference champion from either the ACC or Big 12 being left out for a team that didn’t even play for their championship and that would be either Ohio State or Michigan State right now.
I’m sure this will continue to change over the next few weeks and it’s going to be interesting where the foursome stands next week.
