The South Carolina Gamecocks got off to a slow start against the Missouri Tigers on Saturday afternoon, but an unorthodox touchdown got the team right back in the game.
Trailing the Tigers, South Carolina freshman quarterback Lorenzo Nunez pulled off some magic when he rolled out and heaved the ball downfield to star wide receiver Pharaoh Cooper.
Missouri was in position and broke up the pass, but Shon Carson was “Johnny on the spot” and and hauled in the deflection for the game-tying score.
Check out the wild touchdown below.
Just how they drew it up.
Missouri was able to answer and retook the lead, 17-10.
We will have to see if the Gamecocks have any more magic up their sleeves.
