The Philadelphia Eagles will have star running back DeMarco Murray available for today’s game against the Washington Redskins at FedEx field. Murray sat out last week with a hamstring injury and was questionable in the days leading up to today’s game.
After leading the league with 1,845 rush yards last year, Murray has gotten off to an awful start since signing a five-year, $42 million deal with Philadelphia in free agency. He has just 11 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries, plus nine receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown. With Philadelphia at 1-2 to start the season, a breakout game from their free agency cash cow would do wonders for both team and fan morale.
