With some teams still struggling to find an identity at the quarterback position even five weeks into the season, one team seems to have a very clear answer at the position. Florida quarterback Will Grier had a career day in the Gators’ upset of Ole Miss on Saturday night.
According to College Spun, head coach Jim McElwain is still wavering on who will be the starter for the Gators going forward. He said that the team is going to look at all their options and make their decision from there.

Grier has had a monster couple of weeks. He has been 47 of 71 threw the air with 554 yards and six touchdowns against only one interception. He threw four touchdowns in their win over the Rebels and has his team looking like a contender in the SEC East.
McElwain could be doing this as strategy to make teams prepare for both Treon Harris and Grier. It’s pretty clear that Grier is the starter going forward. The Gators next play on the road against Missouri on Saturday.
