Video: Panthers increase lead on crazy fumble play

|

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been like a gnat around the head of the Carolina Panthers today. However, in the third quarter, the Panthers got a bit of a break.

Running back Jonathan Stewart got the handoff up the middle when he got hit pretty hard. The ball squeaked out, but tight end Ed Dickson was there to catch the ball in midair and then raced down the field for the touchdown.

That made the score 24-10 and it looks like the Panthers may be well in control of the game. Stewart avoided losing his first fumble of the season thanks to that heads-up play by Dickson.
