The Louisville Cardinals won their first game of 2015 on Saturday with a 20-13 win over ACC opponent NC State. They desperately needed a win as they were faced with an 0-3 record.
The team was leading 7-0 in the midway through the second quarter. The Cardinals were driving down the field when wide receiver James Quick did his best David Tyree impression and made an athletic one-handed grab against his helmet.
That catch led to a 20-yard touchdown pass as Lamar Jackson hit Devonte Peete. The Cardinals ending up winning 20-13 and they now have some momentum moving deeper into ACC play.
The Cardinals next play the Florida State Seminoles on the road in Tallahassee on Saturday.
