Oregon reveals new unis paying homage to Lewis & Clark

The Oregon Ducks have some of the most unique uniforms in all of college football. Earlier this season, they debuted helmets with a giant silhouette of their duck mascot on the side.

They have just broken the internet again with their newest uniform creation. According to College Spun, the Ducks debuted new uniforms that pay homage to the great American explorers Lewis and Clark.

The uniform is named “Oregon Pioneers” and a representative for Nike talked about the creative design.

“We have many discussions with the Oregon athletes, equipment staff and coaches,” says Todd Van Horne, Creative Director for Nike Football. “For this inspiring new uniform, we want to celebrate the state and its great founders and innovators.”

Some people believed that one of the silhouettes showed a gun. However, one of the people on the decal is pointing and the other one holding a telescope.
