Houston uses interesting motivational tactic for SMU

There is apparently no love lost between the Houston Cougars and SMU Mustangs ahead of this weekend’s game at TDECU Stadium.

In fact, the undefeated Cougars are using a very unique motivational tactic for the meeting which includes completely disrespecting the SMU uniforms.

In a video shared on social media, you can see that Houston has taped SMU jerseys to the floor of the team’s facility so they will be able to “walk all over them” throughout the week.

Jeez. That is a bit too much.

It is one thing to taunt your opponents with some fun trash talk throughout the week, but this is complete and utter disrespect for SMU. While they are just 1-4 on the season, you can guarantee Chad Morris will have his team ready for the challenge.

The two teams will go head-to-head Thursday night on ESPN2.
