Jim Irsay expects one or two L.A. teams next season

Jim Irsay is one of the more well-known owners in the NFL, but he has also had his issues as well. He got into trouble for driving under the influence of drugs awhile back and was forced to check into rehab due to that issue.

Now, he is making the news by stating that he expects one or two teams in Los Angeles as early as next season.

Colts owner Jim irsay says there's a "high likelihood" there will be one or two NFL teams playing in Los Angeles by the 2016 season.

There have been quite a few teams that have been rumored to have interest in relocating to Los Angeles.

The Jacksonville Jaguars, St. Louis Rams and San Diego Chargers have all shown quite a bit of interest in the possibility. Those teams would all likely take a huge step forward if they did make the move, but they are all in cities where football should be taking off.

No matter which team or teams end up moving to Los Angeles, they are going to be welcomed with open arms. Irsay is probably right that a team will be in L.A. fairly soon and next year wouldn’t be too terribly surprising.
