It’s never easy for a star high school athlete to go down with an injury, but it happens all the time. The Tennessee Volunteers just got some bad news about one of their commits for the 2016 season.
Dual-threat quarterback Jarrettt Guarantano suffered a season-ending injury on Saturday. He injured his foot in Oradell Bergen Catholic’s win over Paramus Catholic and it the injury may require surgery.
Guarantano reportedly suffered a torn ligament in his foot. This is his second season-ending injury as he hurt his wrist last season.
Let’s hope that injuries don’t turn out to be a big problem for Guarantano. This athlete has a bright future ahead of him as he is ranked the number-one dual-threat quarterback in the country and the third player in the entire state of New Jersey.
