Texas’ Kris Boyd apologizes for tweeting during halftime

There’s a time and place for social media, and unfortunately, Texas’ cornerback Kris Boyd had to learn that the hard way that the right time to Tweet is not during halftime of a game.

Boyd, who retweeted a a post about his transfer to Texas A&M during halftime of this past Saturday’s game against TCU, officially apologized on Sunday night and confirmed his commitment to the program.
