The NFL is always searching for ways to expand their fan base, as has been seen with their effort to play multiple games per season over in London. Now, the NFL is looking to expand to Mexico and play a game or two there.
Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys are interested in playing in Mexico, but they are also nervous about losing a home game due to playing a game in another country.
Are the #Cowboys interested in playing in Mexico? "Yes we are," said COO Stephen Jones. Reluctant to give up a home game, tho

No one can blame Jones for being hesitant to give up a home game to play in Mexico. The amount of money that the Cowboys make each and every home game in their stadium is ridiculous and giving that up would set them back a bit.
That being said, having a chance to be one of the first teams to play an NFL game in Mexico would be something that would be foolish to pass up on.
Jones is one of the biggest businessmen in the league as an owner and playing in Mexico would be a very intriguing move for the Cowboys. They are already down in the area and could gain a lot of money by playing in Mexico and making new diehard fans in that country.
Dallas would be all over a game south of the border if they didn’t have to play as the home team.
