Florida LB ‘disturbed’ by Missouri players’ politeness

In the game of football, you expect players to trash talk each other and get rowdy on the field. Some players, however, like to allow their play to do much of the talking.

That seems to be the case with the Missouri Tigers. Actually, according to College Spun, the Tigers are downright polite and Florida linebacker Michael Taylor gave a pretty hilarious quote regarding their attitudes.

That’s pretty funny if you ask me. I understand having a polite attitude, having lived in the South my entire life. However, I would put away the “yes sir, no sir” part of my life (aside from talking to coaches and referees) when it came time to strap my helmet on.

The Tigers’ approach seems to be working as they have won the SEC East the last two seasons. I don’t know if they will do that this year, but they are in the thick of things and have a chance to take a lead on Saturday when they host Taylor and the Gators.
