Harmless TD celebration lands Stedman Bailey hefty NFL fine

The NFL is once again being dubbed the “No Fun League” following the announcement of a fine to St. Louis Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey.

The fine results from a seemingly harmless touchdown celebration.

Stedman was fined for “using the ball as a prop” during his touchdown celebration. Bailey fell to the ground and used the ball as a pillow. Most found the celebration entertaining.

You can see video of the play which resulted in the fine here and it is just as harmless as the photo suggests. Bailey was fined $8,681 by the league.

After the fine became public knowledge, Bailed tweeted out a message that read “How u sign up for go fund me? Lol this is bogus man!” before ultimately hitting the delete button.
