Notre Dame students to get free tickets for basketball games

If you are a student at the University of Notre Dame, there is some great news that surfaced this week — specifically if you are a fan of basketball or hockey.

Notre Dame men’s basketball coach Mike Brey and hockey coach Jeff Jackson sent out a message to students on campus announcing that tickets for the games will be free of charge this season.

Our student body has helped us win a ton of games in my 15 years at ND.

We think this is a great way to thank them. pic.twitter.com/OsQgMCSfQ8

That is a great gesture for the student body and one you can expect the fans to take full advantage of. It should also help put butts in the seats, which is a great look for when Notre Dame games will be on the air.
