OneRepublic halftime show for LSU/Florida game canceled

Halftime shows can sometimes be the best part about a football game. The host school’s marching band takes the field and plays a melody popular songs and sometimes a celebrity will join the band to perform for crowd.

OneRepublic was scheduled to perform with LSU’s Golden Band from Tigerland during halftime of next week’s game between the Tigers and Florida Gators at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge. According to the Tigers’ official website, that event has now been canceled.

From LSUsports.net:

The show promoter, College Live, was unable to abide by the contractual terms forcing the cancelation of the show that was going to take place in conjunction with LSU’s Golden Band from Tigerland halftime performance at next week’s game against Florida in Tiger Stadium.

The site reported that this cancellation will not affect the Aloe Blacc concert scheduled for November 14 during halftime of the game against Arkansas. The Tigers are currently looking for another halftime performance for a future game right now.

I’m sure there are some disappointed sororities that the band will not be performing at the game now.
