Leonte Carroo was expected to be one of the top wide receivers in the Big Ten conference this season, but his year was derailed with off-the-field accusations.
Since those accusations were made, more information became available and the charges that he was facing were dropped.
Now, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights have reinstated their talented receiver and are excited to get him back on the field to help their offense.

As a senior, this is huge news for Carroo who still has a good portion of the season to prove how good of a player he is. He is battling for a chance in the NFL and there is no question that he has the potential to make a team consider him with a middle round draft pick.
Prior to being suspended due to the assault charges that he was facing, Carroo was able to play in two games this season. He caught seven passes for 181 yards and three touchdowns in that limited playing time.
Those numbers show the kind of talent that Carroo possesses and the Rutgers offense will take a huge leap forward with him on the field.
Carroo was very vocal ahead of the season that he felt he was the top receiver in the Big Ten.
Hopefully this will be the last time that Carroo sees his name in the media in a negative light off the field. He needs to stay clean and focus on making something out of his football career.
The NFL is always looking for talented receivers and playmakers which is exactly what Carroo is.
Expect him to hit the ground running with the Scarlet Knights now that he is back on the field and to begin putting up big numbers immediately.
