Every year, about a month before the start of the college basketball season, the Kentucky Wildcats host a big event where fans get to come out and get an early look at their team for the upcoming season.
This event is called “Big Blue Madness” and it is always an awesome spectacle.
The Wildcats have a fan base all over the country and some of them don’t get to experience the event every year or even at all. While it won’t be the same as actually being in Rupp Arena, the SEC Network will be airing the event live on October 16.
A statement read, “For the first time in Kentucky basketball history, Big Blue Madness will air live in its entirety on national television. SEC Network is slated to carry the popular Wildcat event on Friday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. ET. The two-hour show will also stream live via the WatchESPN app on computers, tablets and smartphones.”
Kentucky basketball fan and mega rap star Drake is scheduled to perform at this event, but there hasn’t been confirmation if his performance will be shown on television.
