The future of Maryland football, particularly that of coach Randy Edsall, may remain in limbo for now, but one thing is certain: Perry Hills will start at quarterback today against the Ohio State Buckeyes. The decision to start Hills was reported on Twitter by Roman Stubbs of The Washington Post.

This shows just how desperate the 2-3 Terps are to find some sort of spark on offense. Hills began the season as the starter, but was benched the previous three games after throwing for just 306 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions over two games. Hills has also not been effective throwing the ball, completing just 52.9 percent of his passes.
Just the same, he is an improvement over teammate Caleb Rowe, who has thrown for 428 yards, four touchdowns and 12 interceptions in five games. With Edsall expected to be let go after today’s game, there really doesn’t seem to be any harm in Maryland thus rolling the dice at quarterback.
Kickoff is slated to happen in just a few minutes, so stay tuned to Campus Sports for highlights!
