2016 4-star DE Bryson Young commits to Oregon

Class of 2016 four-star defensive end Bryson Young, out of California’s Buchanan High School, near Fresno, has committed to Oregon. Young announced his decision on his personal Twitter page.

Blessed to say that I have committed the next chapter of my life of being a student-athlete to the University of Oregon #stayfaithful #WTD

Can't wait to put in work and help the Ducks get back on track

Young has great size for his age at 6-foot-5, 220 pounds and should be a dominant pass rusher once he fills out. Given his frame, a move to linebacker isn’t out of the picture. On top of Oregon, he was weighing offers from Fresno State, Michigan, UCLA, USC, Oregon State and Tennessee.

Instead, he’ll head to a Ducks squad that has looked lost on offense this season. He should make an immediate impact next season and help get Oregon back into championship contention.
