A-Rod took in the FSU-Miami game

The game between the Miami Hurricanes and Florida State Seminoles had an A-list celebrity guest in attendance, as New York Yankees designated hitter and baseball superstar Alex Rodriguez was there to support Al Golden’s squad.

Miami Assistant AD for Media Relations Tom Symonds posted a picture of Rodriguez in full Hurricanes gear on Twitter.

It’s no surprise that Rodriguez would attend the game, having grown up in Miami. He also was recruited by the University of Miami’s football program to play quarterback, and ended up signing a letter of intent to play baseball before opting to turn professional after graduating from Westminster Christian School.

Needless to say, Rodriguez loves the Miami Hurricanes. Sadly, the team lost to Seminoles 29-24, dropping their record to 3-2. Still, they played an inspired game, so maybe A-Rod should attend more often!
