AFC scout calls Shaq Lawson a ‘difference maker’

The college football season is in full force and it’s time for NFL teams to start looking at who they may want to use draft picks on in April. One player that has certainly made a large impact is one that not a lot of people were talking about before the season began.

According to CBS Sports, multiple scouts were in attendance at the Clemson/Georgia Tech this past weekend. One scout, who was not at the game, sent a text message to Dane Brugler complementing Clemson defensive end saying that he was a “difference maker.”

Lawson finished Saturday’s game with seven tackles, 3.5 of which were for loss, all against Ronnie Stanley, one of the top prospects on the offensive line. So far this year, the six-foot-three, 275-pound Lawson has 20 tackles and 2.5 sacks.

Lawson has shown that he has what it takes to be a top talent for the NFL Draft, if he decided to come out this year. I’m sure his stock will begin to skyrocket if he keeps making plays like he is right now.
