Chicago Bears star wide receiver Alshon Jeffery will miss his fourth consecutive game with a hamstring injury as his team takes on the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. Thus continues a Bears season that looks more and more lost with each passing week.
Jeffery missed a majority of training camp with a calf issue, but managed to play in the season opener against the Green Bay Packers. He had five catches for 78 yards in the game.
This also does not bode well for Jeffery as he is set to be an unrestricted free agent next offseason. If he can’t stay on the field for a majority of the 2015 season and continue to post epic numbers, his value come the spring could be affected. Since being drafted by Chicago out of South Carolina in the second round in 2012, Jeffery has caught 203 passes for 2,999 yards and 20 touchdowns.
Campus Sports will update Jeffery’s future status as any new information becomes available.
