Skunk Handler pranks morning show host with fake spray on live TV

Who said nothing happens in Omaha? The Morning Blend on KMTV Action 3 in Omaha, Nebraska pulled off a genius prank on their own Mike DiGiacomo during a segment with a skunk on set.

Skunk handler Kip Smith of Wildlife Encounters proved to be a gracious guest, spraying DiGiacomo with a fake water spray as he brought the skunk on set. As any warm blooded human would, DiGiacomo sprinted off set once he was hit and hilarity ensued.

Co-host Mary Nelson was apparently in on the prank, and of course started cracking up at the expense of her co-host – and maybe friend? – all on live TV.

Wild animals + live TV + hosts that aren’t complete stiffs always makes for great television. Looks like the team at Action 3 knows how to start their mornings off right.
