TNA wrestler challenges Rob Gronkowski to a match

New England Patriots superstar tight end Rob Gronkowski is a party machine. When he isn’t catching touchdowns and spiking the air out of footballs, he is either on his yacht or in the closest club having the time of his life.

One thing Gronk has never forayed into is the professional wrestling world. He looks the stereotypical WWE wrestler that Vince McMahon would love to have on his roster, but McMahon has never really liked having celebrities taking part in a match, especially one from an organization that kills his flagship show, Monday Night Raw, in the ratings war four months out of the year.

TNA, also known as iMPACT Wrestling, was the WWE’s biggest competitor a few years ago. Now they are barely hanging and trying to do all they can to stay relevant.

They are trying to do this to get Gronk involved in one of their shows. According to Complex, Robbie E., a character with a Jersey Shore type gimmick, was upset about Gronk “stealing” his name and then he went on to do challenge the tight end to a match.

Being that Robbie E. is outweighed by Gronk by about 75 pounds, I doubt that he would actually last longer than a few minutes in the ring with Gronk. Either way, I would be more than happy to see Robbie E.’s get his mouth shut.
