Washington State trolls Oregon after win

On Saturday the Oregon Ducks wore special jerseys paying homage to the Oregon Trail, sadly their play wasn’t as special as they lost to the Washington State Cougars in double overtime in Eugene. WSU had not beaten Oregon in football for 8 years prior.

Not satisfied with their win on the field, WSU won Twitter with their zinger utilizing the old Oregon Trail computer game.

Oregon suffered its third loss of the season 45-38, with Shalom Luani of WSU intercepting a pass to seal it for the Cougars. Oregon hadn’t lost 3 games in a season since 2009, Chip Kelly’s first year as head coach at the university.

Washington State now sits at 3-2 in third place in the Pac-12 North, ahead of Oregon in fifth.
