The Clemson Tigers are currently sitting at 5-0 on the season and are ranked No. 5 in the country. Looking ahead at the remainder of the season, they are one of the teams with the best chances to finish the year undefeated and make their way into the college football playoff.
According to Football Outsiders, the Tigers currently have a 69 percent chance to remain undefeated for the remainder of the season.
Clemson has a fairly easy schedule ahead despite one or two games. They will have to go up against the Florida State Seminoles on November 7th and will also play the Miami Hurricanes on October 24th.
Both of those games are going to be difficult matchups, but they are more than capable of coming away with big wins in both of them.
Head coach Dabo Swinney has to be very pleased with the way that his team is playing on both sides of the football. His offense has been dangerous both through the air and on the ground and the defense has been solid as usual.
There are quite a few teams battling for the four college football playoff spots, with the Tigers being one of the more serious of them. Ohio State, Baylor, TCU, Utah, LSU and Michigan State are just a few of the other teams that are fighting for the chance to get in.
Expect to see the Tiers continue their winning ways up until the Florida State game. If they are able to knock off Jimbo Fisher and the Seminoles, there shouldn’t be anything serious standing in their way of a perfect finish to the season.
