Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh is taking quotes from "The Lion King" when talking about the upcoming Michigan State game.

Jim Harbaugh drawing inspiration from ‘The Lion King’

The Michigan Wolverines have been absolutely abused by the Michigan State Spartans in recent history and Jim Harbaugh is hoping to change that trend. Michigan is set to face off against the Spartans this week, but are a completely different football team than they have been in a long time.

At this point in the season, the Wolverines have worked themselves all the way up to the No. 12 ranking in the nation and are considered to be a potential title contender.

Harbaugh talked about the way that Michigan State has physically abused the Wolverines on the field in recent years and turned to the wise quotes from “The Lion King” to help him explain what his team must do.

Here is the video of Harbaugh quoting the movie and getting some help from the media in figuring out where the quote came from.

Now take a look at the original quote from Rafiki in the movie.

These are the types of things that make us love Harbaugh more and more each time he does a press conference. Hopefully the Wolverines can channel their inner “Lion” this week against the Spartans and come away with a massive win and rise even more in the national rankings and in the Big Ten conference.
