Pittsburgh cop recorded body slamming Cubs fan after Wild Card game

A Chicago Cubs fan dressed in a goat costume was body slammed by Pittsburgh Police officer in the middle of the National League Wild Card game between the Pirates and Cubs last week, and it was all on video.

Adding to the malicious attack were Pirates staffers using force to stop another man from recording the incident.

The incident occurred after the Cubs fan known as ‘Dimitri’ got on TV with his sign and elaborate costume, just before another fan threw a cup full of chewing tobacco spit. Soon after Dimitri was thrown out of the section by an usher.

As Dimitri was walking he was approached and apprehended by a police officer. Dimitri can be heard shouting for the officer to relax his force yelling, ‘Seriously, stop!’ The officer proceeds to body slam Dimitri to the concrete, handcuff him and escort him away from the scene.

In the end Dimitri was not arrested, but did need medical attention as a result of the officer’s actions.
