Top ranked TE switches official visit from USC to Alabama

Things seem to keep getting worse and worse for the USC Trojans. First, head coach Steve Sarkisian was put on an indefinite leave of absence and then the team announced that starting center Max Tuerk would miss the rest of the year with multiple torn ligaments in his knee.

Sunday evening, the Trojans were hit with some more unexpected news as a top recruit announced he would not be making an official visit to the school. Five-star tight end Isaac Nauta from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida announced he would be visiting Alabama for the game against LSU game in place of the USC/Arizona game on November 7.

While it hasn’t been confirmed, many would believe this is connected to Sarkisian being put on leave Sunday afternoon. The Trojans took a hit in their recruiting department before Nauta’s announcement as five-star linebacker Daelin Hayes announced he was de-committing from the Trojans.
