The Washington State Cougars took down Oregon for the first time in eight years over the weekend, but one of Mike Leach’s assistants couldn’t wait to end the streak.
After WSU QB Luke Falk connected with WR Dom Williams for a touchdown with 1 second left in regulation, putting the Cougs down 1 at 31-30. Amidst the celebration one WSU assistant pleaded with Leach to go for two and put Oregon away right then and there, while Leach must have x-ray vision because he seems to see right through him.

In the end WSU went the safe route and kicked the PAT to tie the game and force overtime. Fortunately – and improbably – WSU avoided to “coug it” and pulled out the win 45-38 in double overtime.
