ESPN’s FPI expects Michigan to beat Ohio State

The Michigan Wolverines are easily one of the hottest teams in the country right now. Since looking awful and losing their opening game to the Utah Utes, they have won five straight games with the last three being shutouts against BYU and two Big Ten opponents.

A lot of fans now believe the Wolverines have a good chance of winning the conference and possibly getting into the College Football Playoff. Doing that will have to go through Ohio State and ESPN believes they can do just that.

ESPN's FPI now gives Michigan a 52% chance to beat Ohio State Nov. 28th. Also 73% vs MSU this Saturday.

Not only does the FPI now give the Wolverines the edge in every game from here on out, but it gives them a 52 percent chance to beat their rivals in the last week of the season. One more interesting note from the above graphic is that Penn State is expected to have a better chance to win than Michigan State this weekend.

Shows how much confidence ESPN has in a top five prospect like Connor Cook.
