Ex-NFL star Warrick Dunn has given 145 homes and counting to single parent families

Warrick Dunn received a lot of attention for his performances on the field during his career, but what’s more remarkable is what he’s doing post-career off the field, and how little media attention he has gotten for it.

Through his charity, Warrick Dunn Charities, Dunn has quietly given single-parent families 145 homes and counting.

Partnering with Habitat for Humanity, families are carefully selected and are provided with homes along with down payment assistance and furniture.

Dunn was a 3-time Pro Bowl selection and played in the league 12 years as a running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons. He was also a record setting back at Florida State before being drafted in 1997. Dunn himself came from a single parent household.
