The Florida Gators’ run defense has been pretty good this season. They have only allowed one 100+ yard rusher this season and they are 6-0 mainly because of that reason.
They have a pretty tough task this weekend as they travel to Baton Rouge to take on the LSU Tigers and their star running back Leonard Fournette. He has gone for at least 150+ yards every game this season and he is leading the nation for the most yards this year.
One Florida defensive tackle told Mark Long of the Associated Press that they shouldn’t have any problem holding him in check.
While I respect that Bullard and the rest of Gator defensive front is very good, Fournette is on a completely different level from any other running back they have faced this season. It’s going to be tough being able to stop him.
Remember the last time someone opened their mouth about stopping Fournette? Auburn defensive back Jonathan Ford sure does.
