Class of 2016 four-star defensive end Khalid Kareem, out of Michigan’s Harrison High School, in the Detroit suburb of Farmington Hills, has de-committed from Alabama. Kareem posted a message on Twitter explaining his decision.
Kareem had also received offers from a great number of schools including Stanford, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, Louisville and even Harvard and Yale, among others. In reality, this young man can go to school practically wherever he wants.
Standing 6-foot-4, 255 pounds, Kareem is ranked the No. 9 strong-side defensive end in 247 Sports’ Class of 2016 rankings. Once he fills out, he’ll be an immediate impact player.
Campus Sports will update Kareem’s decision as new information becomes public.
