Alabama OT took responsibility for Bielema incident

Alabama head coach Nick Saban said that though he himself has not seen the video of Arkansas coach Bret Bielema faking being shoved by offensive tackle Cam Robinson, thus drawing Robinson a personal foul flag, he is ready to move on from the incident and that Robinson has taken responsibility for what happened. Saban’s words were reported by multiple sources, including local author Christopher Walsh and Aaron Suttles of The Tuscaloosa News.

Saban says he still hasn't seen Bielema video. Talked to Robinson, who took responsibility because he got frustrated and pushed a guy

Bielema himself vehemently denied any wrongdoing yesterday, but let’s take a look at the video:

Was able to get another video angle that shows Cam Robinson's personal foul. Doesn't look like a Bret Bielema flop. pic.twitter.com/nCilLLbsWz

As the video shows, what went down could go either way. Robinson did get somewhat physical with Bielema, and Bielema could have exaggerated just a big. Regardless, Saban appears ready to put the entire matter to bed, so fans should too now that SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey has already said that Bielema will not be disciplined by the conference.

Now, Alabama can focus solely on its important game against Texas A&M in College Station on Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
