Steve Spurrier already has a job offer

It has only been two days since we learned that the Head Ball Coach would be resigning from his position with the South Carolina Gamecocks. However, Steve Spurrier may not be out of a job for long. Spurrier left the door open to a potential return to coaching, so it comes as no surprise that a job offer surfaced shortly after his resignation became official.

Who has made the offer?  Dunham (La.) School head coach Neil Weiner.

Weiner took to Twitter to officially invite Spurrier to join his coaching staff as the offensive coordinator.

I'm officially offering @SC_HBC the Offensive Coordinator position for @DunhamAthletics effective immediately https://t.co/tkorNO1mWf

Of course, the offer was a bit tongue-in-cheek.

The Head Ball Coach did specifically say that he could potentially return to coach a high school team though, so you never know what could happen.

It would be a shock if Spurrier left a job in the SEC to coach a high school in Louisiana, but if there is one thing we know about Steve Spurrier it is that he does everything his way and he doesn’t give a damn what people think.
