Dak Prescott owns every Mississippi State passing record

Dak Prescott is a name that almost every college football fan knows, especially after the run that he took his Mississippi State Bulldogs on last season. He is one of the best quarterbacks all of college football and he is proving that he is the best quarterback in Mississippi State history.

Just how good has Prescott been during his time in Starkville?

According to Bill Martin, Prescott owns every single passing record for Mississippi State.

With his 35 attempts today, Dak Prescott now owns every single @HailStateFB career passing record. He's got 23 school records (11 career).

That fact is absolutely crazy to think about. Not only has he broken most of them, he has taken all of them from every single quarterback that has ever starred for the Bulldogs.

Obviously we have been watching a college football legend in the works at Mississippi State, although his NFL future is a bit murky at this point in time. He definitely will make it into the league, but whether he has what it takes to take his game to a new level is a completely different question.

It will be intriguing to see what kind of numbers he ends up with at the end of the 2015 season.

So far this season, Prescott has completed 65.8 percent of his passes for 1,700 yards, 11 touchdowns and zero interceptions. Those numbers speak for themselves, but he has also picked up 254 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.

There aren’t many quarterbacks capable of making the type of impact on a game that Prescott has been able to over the past two seasons in particular.

Moving forward, Prescott will go down as one of the greatest quarterbacks in recent history and he is very deserving of that title.
