Jameis Winston holds clipboard in FSU huddle

Since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were on a bye last weekend, quarterback Jameis Winston used the time off to visit his former teammates at his alma mater, Florida State. However, during the team’s game against Louisville, Winston did more than just parade the sidelines.

In a picture that was captured on Twitter, Winston can be seen holding a clipboard INSIDE the Seminoles’ huddle.

That said, maybe there’s a future in coaching for Winston? His rookie season is off to a rocky start, as he has thrown for 1,174 yards and seven touchdowns, plus seven interceptions along with two fumbles. Granted, that isn’t a relatively big sample size, but perhaps this picture provides a glimpse into the future.

But the reality of the matter is that this was likely just a one-time occurrence, so fans should just look forward to Winston continuing to take steps forward on the football field as a player rather than a coach.

FSU takes on Georgia Tech in Atlanta on Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
