Marcus Mariota has sprained MCL

No word yet on how much time Mariota might miss, but he has officially been diagnosed with a sprained MCL, suffered in yesterday’s game against the Dolphins.

Still, the 2015 No. 2 overall pick didn’t miss a snap until the fourth quarter when backup Zach Mettenberger came on in garbage time.

Head coach Ken Whisenhunt said that Mariota looks ‘fine’ and was walking around the team facility.

The Titans beat the Dolphins 38-10 yesterday and face the Atlanta Falcons next week.

We will update you with more information on Mariota’s injury as it becomes available.
