Nick Chubb had been a Heisman candidate throughout the entire season until two weeks ago when he suffered a sever knee injury. There have been reports that have suggested that his injury could end his football career. Whether that will be the case, only time can tell right now.
But he is still in the minds of fans of the Bulldogs.
This past week against the Missouri Tigers, Georgia fans painted their bodies and spelled out “Get Well Soon 27” in honor of Chubb as he faces a tough road of rehab ahead.
Check out the photo for yourself and join in saying a quick prayer for Chubb to heal completely.
Georgia hasn’t been the same without Chubb on the field and their offense has struggled in a big way. They ended up losing to Tennessee in the game that Chubb got injured in and only scored nine points this past week against Missouri in a 9-6 victory.
Mark Richt and the Bulldogs have to be hoping and praying with everything they have that Chubb can attack his rehab process and get himself back on the football field. Next season is a goal for Chubb to look towards, but there is a good chance that this injury will keep him out for part of next year as well.
No matter what ends up happening, Chubb will need all of the support that he can get and this gesture by the Georgia fan base is something that has to help get Chubb’s head up through this situation.
