The college basketball season is just around the corner and fans are going to begin hearing all about teams’ starting lineups soon. One elite program has just revealed a pretty odd starting lineup for the 2015-16 season.
The Kansas Jayhawks advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last year before falling to Wichita State. The team returns a lot of their starters from last season, including star guard Wayne Selden Jr.
Head coach Bill Self will be changing up his backcourt to look pretty different from last season. He will be moving Selden to the three guard, essentially making him a small forward.

Junior Frank Mason and sophomore Devonte Graham will be the starting two guards for the season. Selden joins them in the backcourt.
Considering that Self likes to run a 2-3 defense, that’s actually pretty small. Mason is just under six feet tall while Graham is only six-foot-two, and Selden is six-foot-five.
The Jayhawks open the season on November 13 with Northern Colorado.
