After posting shy numbers against Arkansas in Week 6, a potential first rounder in next year’s draft, Derrick Henry, used this week’s away game as a chance to rebound against an Aggies squad that ranks 98th in rushing defense (allow 195.17 yards per game).

3. Akrum Wadley, RB, Iowa

26 carries, 204 yards, 4 TD vs. Northwestern

Other than the Cinderella story brewing in Ann Arbor, another Big Ten member in Iowa plans to implement a threat strategy to scare Ohio State. This week against Northwestern, who triumphed then faltered, the Iowa offense positioned itself on the shoulders of Akrum Wadley, who stepped up for one of Week 6’s top rushing performers in terms of yardage, Jordan Canzeri.

2. Luke Falk, QB, Washington State

Although Falk tossed two interceptions, that number would be counter balanced by his six touchdown effort, capped off with 407 yards, against Oregon State.

1. Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford

25 carries, 243 yards, 4 TD vs. UCLA

Honorable Mentions

Minkah Fitzpatrick, DB, Alabama

Seth Russell, QB, Baylor

Next week, Baylor plays host to Iowa State, who ranks seventh in the Big 12 in passing defense (289.7 yards per game) and ninth in total touchdowns surrendered (16).
